Tan Ce Ding is a Malaysia-based film director known for his distinct cinematic vision. For his latest short film, Please Hold The Line, I was commissioned to craft the film’s key visual elements—specifically the main title treatment and the industry-standard billing block.

At the heart of the visual identity is a custom typographic lockup built around a modified Bebas Neue typeface. Chosen for its condensed structure, the font maximizes impact while maintaining a modern, industrial feel. A deliberate design choice was made to emphasize the words "PLEASE HOLD" as the visual anchor.

To create a sense of tension and structural unity, I designed a compact layout where "THE LINE" is stacked vertically to the right of "HOLD," creating a perfectly justified rectangular block. This tight composition ensures the title is readable at a glance while reinforcing the film's solid and urgent narrative. The title treatment is balanced by a meticulously typeset billing block below, adhering to industry standards for credit hierarchy.
